Gabriel MangoReason for Winning Award:He single-handedly redesigned the tariff model for the Nigeria Energy Sector Industry (NESI) which has helped all market participants to understand both the model and the electricity industry.Tanja HansarReason for Nomination:She has shown enormous technical development during her first two years at PwC after graduating from university. She has recently been promoted to Senior Associate due to her continued strong performance. Liam Bastick for winning the Lifetime Achievement Award for 2021!
Reason for Winning Award:Liam was part of the team that pioneered the use of the reverse ticker method for depreciation using SUMPRODUCT and OFFSET and wrote some of the first articles on the web on dynamic arrays, LET, LAMBDA, recursion and their use in Excel and financial modelling. Liam is a 10x Microsoft Most Valuable Professional specialising in Excel, and the first among only a handful who have built their community reputation specifically in financial modelling.Financial Modeller of the Year

Michael Jarman for winning the Financial Modeller of the Year Award for 2021!
Reason for Winning Award:Michael is an exceptionally bright and gifted financial modeller despite his relative youth. In 2018, he became World Champion at ModelOff, the premier financial modelling competition, and remained the youngest winner ever. He pioneered a 'Dashboard' model a few years ago for asset management clients, which can automatically control a portfolio of Operis-built models to aggregate results and run sensitivities on them. Michael is now leading the development of a 'Master Controller' model to perform the same task on any financial models set.About the Awards
The Financial Modelling Awards have one purpose: to celebrate professional financial modelling. Building on the success of the 2020 Innovation Awards, this year we have more categories and a new public vote.
Presentation of the Financial Modelling Awards took place at 10am UK time on Thursday, June 24th as part of the Financial Modelling Summit.
